What We Do
At CUPE Local 1505, we are dedicated to protecting the rights, safety, and well-being of our members. Our union plays a vital role in negotiating fair collective agreements, advocating for just working conditions, and ensuring that every worker has a voice in the workplace.
Collective Bargaining
We negotiate contracts that cover wages, benefits, job security, vacation entitlements, and working hours to ensure members are treated with fairness and respect.

Our members are essential to the functioning of Fort McMurray and surrounding communities. During emergencies—like the 2016 wildfires—CUPE 1505 members remained on the front lines, providing uninterrupted critical services.
